In 2022 I was honored be selected to create the awards for the Benton Community Foundations (BCF) Philanthropic Awards. In 2019, BCF began partnering with The Arts Center to create the physical awards presented to recipients of the Philanthropic Achievement Awards. Each year, The Arts Center distributes a call to artists soliciting submissions of a three-dimensional sculpture representing the spirit of philanthropy, and a winning design is chosen by BCF.

2018 POST had a show at the LaSells Stewart Center in June. The triptych in this case "No Spray Zone" was glass on wood and sold during that show.
Planets from the Linn Benton College Show
Pics from the LBCC Albany campus South Santiam Gallery show April to May, 2018. Thanks to Dan McKensie, (metal artist) Wadell Snyder (fiber artist) in the show and thanks to LBCC curators Anne Magratten, Sin and Michael for being there and giving a critical eye and hands in hanging and lighting (both on and off). Thanks to all who came to the reception and those who went and visited throughout the installation Your voices and feed back and support are greatly appreciated. (hope you all got a chance to be there when the lights went down and the metal, seaweed and the planets glowed. It was my favorite moment and made the work worthwhile.
Craig Hamnquist, a very talented local videographer put together a video to commemorate this installation show. Thank you Craig!!! The show came down on May 4, 2018. |
